Fish Cottage Sandsend located 20yds from the beach in the beautiful seaside village of Sandsend, we’re just a short drive from the popular fishing town of Whitby, North Yorkshire.

Fish Cottage Robin Hoods Bay is our second site, serving traditional fish and chips. Located in the heart of Robin Hoods Bay, North Yorkshire

We have a real love for the sea and pride ourselves in serving the finest, locally caught sustainable fish and seafood.

Reservations

We recommend making a reservation. You must provide names and contact numbers when dining with us.  Guests are welcome to arrive without a reservation on the understanding that we may not be able to seat you.

Dine Outdoors at Fish Cottage

Enjoy the best of Fish Cottage in our beautiful garden. A lovely place to relax, especially on warmer, sunnier days. Parasols are provided to protect guests from the changeable Sandsend weather. The upper terrace area is for restaurant customers only, but we review this daily depending on how busy we are.

No Reservations On The Terrace. Tables are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Dogs

At Fish Cottage, we welcome the whole family to our seafood restaurant and that includes the four legged members too. So you can head off on a coastal adventure knowing that afterwards you can enjoy a delicious seafood supper all together at our dog friendly restaurant in Sandsend, Whitby.

Just A Takeaway?

When our takeaway hatch is open please feel free to grab your food and drinks, take them home, to the beach or use any available tables. Tables are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The upper terrace area is for restaurant customers only, we review this daily depending on the weather and how busy we are.
